Join us for the 2026 Presidential Address, a flagship event in the Institution’s calendar bringing together members, industry leaders and the wider engineering community.
In his talk, Richard will explore how rapid technological changes require us to look “beyond our boundaries”, and implications of our world becoming increasingly interconnected and complex.
The event will begin with registration and refreshments, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow attendees ahead of the lecture. You can take part either in person or online for the 141st Presidential Address.
Following the lecture, in-person attendees are invited to continue the conversation at a relaxed networking dinner in the IMechE Library with a selection of bowl food, wine and soft drinks.
